Presentation of ’A Season of Classic Films’, an initiative of the Association des Cinémathèques Européennes (ACE)

A Season of Classic Films is an initiative of the Association des Cinémathèques Européennes (ACE) that offers free access to restored European films, connecting the public with cinema history and the preservation of film heritage. In this year’s edition, the films are presented by 22 members of ACE, via online streaming and on the big screen, as possible. The initiative is supported financially by the European Commission, especially to raise awareness of Europe’s film culture among a younger public. In addition to reaching new audiences, the project is also an expression of connection and solidarity between the European film archives.
