Two bohemian twins, a painter and a composer, live a basically blissful existence while struggling to get by from day to day. The composer sets up a travelling band made up of kidshanging about the neighbourhood. A hotel owner and his daughter take a shine to the outfit and they begin playing in the hotel garden, to great acclaim. The comedy made with the collaboration of numerous brilliant musicians and under the music direction of German Michael Jary is considered to be the first jazz film of Hungarian filmmaking. The 120-member Hungarian Film Orchestra participated in making the sound recordings.
