Georges Méliès, pioneer of French filmmaking, directed an astonishing 500+ films between 1896 and 1913. He made the first fantasy and adventure films in the history of movies using a variety of remarkable, fairy-tale sceneries and amazing tricks. We can view 13 of these films restored by Lobster Films, which has preserved the original colours of the hand-painted prints.
