Who is the mysterious Filibus and who can stop her? This feminist-steampunk-crime film is about a fearless sky pirate who dresses as a man and sets about stealing art treasures held by the rich and famous. Director Mario Roncoroni piled everything required of a thriller crime story into this film. The story was written by the future science fiction author Giovanni Bertinetti. Filibus is a real treat from the pioneering age of film, yet its audio is extremely modern and most entertaining. If you only watch one silent film this year, make sure it is this one!
