The Reference Library of the Film Archive celebrates this anniversary by presenting 120 curiosities and features from its extensive collection. As a specialist film library with national remit, we have picked from screenplays, small prints, early periodicals reckoned as curiosities and artefacts from film bequests. The purpose: to spread news about this unique library to as wide an audience as possible, and to spark interest in people so that they will visit our collection in person. We have arranged the 120 selected items into three groups:
Rock = artefacts, film-related objects, unusual bequest items
Paper = books, periodicals, screenplays, manuscripts
Scissors = small prints, interesting cuttings, articles
