In her long career, Katinka Faragó enjoyed creative partnerships with leading directors such as Bille August, Jan Troell, Aki Kaurismaki, Andrei Tarkovsky and one of the greatest figures in film history, Ingmar Bergman, with whom she worked for around 30 years.

In a collaboration between Fast Forward Program and Budapest Classical Film Marathon, film producer Viktória Petrányi talks with Katinka Faragó, who made an international reputation for herself as producer and creative partner of Kornél Mundruczó, among others (Toldi Cinema, 5 September). During their conversation, and partly referencing the four-times Oscar winning masterpiece by Bergman, Fanny and Alexander, topics covered will include the creative working relationship, the differences between countries and generations, professional trust and collaboration, as well as the creative-production process of filming.
