Koncertisszimó, Gems of the Hungarian animation, 1968 (5’); Screening: 09.08, 11.30, Toldi Cinema, Nagyterem

This short film is about the trivialization of war: soldiers tune their weapons on stage while the members of the elegant audience calmly gather in the concert hall for their own executions. Its director, who originally wished to become a painter, used post-impressionist gouache to depict the picturesque long shots.
