Event:
Russian spy Miklós Bravura and his accomplice Ödön Velőssy, Hungarian notary clerk, were found guilty of offences against the armed forces by the Budapest criminal court and were sentenced to several years’ incarceration and hefty fines. The judge was Miklós Kállay.

Background to the event:
In April 1913, the police discovered a Russian spy, Miklós Bravura, who had lived for a year in Budapest as an English language teacher. Detectives caught the accomplice of the originally officer of the Russian chief of staff, clerk Ödön Velőssy, in early May. Both men were arrested and held in the jail of the prosecutor’s office until their case could be heard.
